Design and Sizing
Full Time Tart will design a cake based on the brief and direction provided by the client. Full Time Tart will accept inspiration images however will not recreate a cake in any image provided by the client. Full Time Tart reserves the right to make changes to the design during the creation process if we feel this is needed to achieve a cohesive or balanced design.
Full Time Tart is not responsible if the venue/caterer/client cuts the cake to a different serving size resulting in the stated number of servings not being achieved.
Additional Decoration
No decorations or other items may be added to the cake by any person other than those employed by Full Time Tart.
If you wish for your event florist to provide flowers for your cake these must be delivered/collected the day before the event. This must be in the form of stems. Not pre arranged, cut, wired or wrapped. No florist is permitted to add flowers onto a cake provided by Full Time Tart. The only exception to this clause is for cake toppers that are to be supplied by the client. Please inform Full Time Tart if this is something you are planning on ordering.
Deposit and Payment
Deposit of $300.00 will be issued to secure the booking. Final payment will be issued after the design consultation and is due 2 weeks before your event date. If final payment is not received on time Full Time Tart reserves the right to cancel your order with no refund of deposit paid. All payments must be paid by direct deposit to the account listed on your invoice.
Delivery and Pick Ups
All cakes over 1 tier are advised to be delivered by Full Time Tart.
Full Time Tart is not responsible for any damage to the cake once delivery has been made. The customer is responsible for confirming with the venue that a suitable location for the cake to be displayed will be made available. For outdoor venues the customer must confirm with the venue that a suitable location outside of direct sunlight will be available. For outdoor weddings in summer the customer must advise the venue that the cake may need to be stored inside or refrigerated for a period before being displayed.
Pick up is available but advised only for single tier cakes. Full Time Tart will provide guidance on best practice for transport and storage however Full Time Tart bears no responsibility for any damage once the customer is in possession of the cake.
Design and Flavour Changes
Any design and/or flavour change requests after the initial deposit has been paid must be submitted in writing at least one month before your event date. Acceptance of any changes is at Full Time Tart’s sole discretion and may require an adjustment to your invoice.
Cancelations and Date Changes
In the event you wish to cancel your order your deposit will be forfeited. Deposits cannot be transferred to a new date. If you wish to change the date of your order this will be considered a cancellation and a new order must be placed for the new date.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with your cake for any reason all issues must be raised with Full Time Tart within 48 hours. No refunds will be issued without 80% of the cake being returned to Full Time Tart for assessment. No refunds will be issued based on design choices made by Full Time Tart in their discretion.
Photos and Imagery
Full Time Tart reserves the right to take photos of their work and use them for advertising purposes. This includes photos taken on site at venues. The photo may be used in advertising and on social media.
